This course takes you from the very basics of loom weaving right up through how to find your own artistic voice at the weaving loom. You'll learn all the stitches that you'll need, how to warp up your loom and take the final weaving off the loom ready for display.
The hands on videos will show you step-by-step how to create each weaving stitch and guide you on making your own woven piece. Once you've mastered the stitches, we'll delve into other projects to make including a cushion, purse, wall hanging and art piece.
We'll talk about yarns, threads and other options for upcycling what you already have at home - conversations on natural fibres and sustainable craft practice.
This is more than just your usual 'how to weave' - this course will guide you in a new way of working, thinking and approaching your creative practice.

Hi, I’m an artist, author, creative maker & mentor. My ethos is about slowing down, creating intentionally & gently guiding Creatives on how to listen to your inner whisper.
I’m also a mother, lover of walking bare-feet in the forest & swimming naked in the ocean, textile crafter & creative teacher.
I share stories & heart-ful living, in a slow intentional manner. I’m truly happiest talking with my flowers in the garden, a light sprinkle of rain tumbling on the heads of my children who are gathering blooms beside me. And watching the way the light falls on the tall gum trees in our forest.
The complex aspect of me means that I love both the quiet of crafting & art-making alone, but also feel energised by spending time with other creatives sharing our time together, stitch by stitch, word by word.
Tea & cake, & lots of messy fabrics & tangled threads, along with gathered leaves, twigs, seedpods or bird nests play a big part of my life
